The challenge
Projection was limiting clarity, color uniformity, and flexibility, especially for congregants near the front and for those farther back. The church wanted a bright, modern visual canvas that could handle weekly worship, IMAG, and special moments, without distracting from the traditional sanctuary aesthetic.
The solution
Altitude LED installed a 30′ × 10′ Apex center wall (2.97mm) with two Apex side screens above it for complementary visuals and IMAG. A 5′ × 8′ Apex confidence monitor on the balcony serves pastors and the band with lyrics, timers, and cues. Three NovaStar processors (center, sides, confidence) route Proclaim and live camera feeds over CAT5, with mapping tuned so each display renders content perfectly.
The results
Services now feature crisp, high-resolution visuals from every seat, with instant scene changes for worship and teaching. Stage leadership stays in sync thanks to the balcony confidence display, and the volunteer team enjoys smooth, consistent operation week after week. When powered down, the screens recede visually, preserving the sanctuary’s traditional look.
