When something fails, don’t panic—watch how to power down, pop modules with the vacuum, and safely swap the power supply, receiving card, or hub board so you’re back on by Sunday.
As you use your screen through the years, there may arise an occasion where you need to replace a part within the cabinet. This could be the power supply, the receiving card, or the hub board. All of the parts with all of the parts are easily accessible once you remove the modules with the vacuum tool. From there, you would use a Phillips screwdriver to remove those components within the wall. Our different videos will show you symptoms and guide you which parts and methods to look at first to diagnose what the situation is that you're experiencing. To replace your power supply, the first thing you need to do is shut the power down to your screen. After that, you'll need a Phillips screwdriver. Simply detach the connection points on the low voltage side, and then the connection points on the high voltage side, and then the Phillips screws that attach the brackets to the cabinet. Once you have those removed, you'll be able to remove the power supply and swap it in with a replacement. To swap out the receiving card, you'll need a Phillips screwdriver. There are four screws that hold the card to the hub board. Simply remove the four screws in the corners of the receiving card and pull firmly away from the hub board. You can then replace the receiving card with one of your spares. When it comes to swapping out your hub board, you'll need to detach the cables that attach power and data along with the connections at the top part if you're using the one meter cabinets. If you have half meter cabinets, these will not exist. Simply detach all your connection points around the hub board, and then remove the screws that seat the board to the cabinet.
